Monthly Instagram Challenge - February 2019: "Movement"
I really enjoyed last month’s Instagram Challenge “Leaves” and although only a few people took part, the images were really amazing!
Personally, I really enjoyed trying something different – Macro. I haven’t done macro photography for years, but I really enjoyed it and although my image wasn’t a true macro shot, it’s maybe something I should give a bit more of my time to – I’ll have to dust off my proper macro lens again though.
So it’s time to set a new challenge for a new month.
And the theme for February is: “Movement”
Some ideas you can try around this theme could be water or waterfalls, wind blowing trees, cars or people moving through a scene, intentional camera shake, zooming in or out with the shutter open, the movement of the stars………..
There’s loads to choose from – as long as it shows movement of some kind.
February’s Theme: “Movement”
To join in, upload your images to Instagram with the Hashtag #smillsphoto so we can all see your photos and comment on them (please keep it nice – as I’m sure you all will) and remember this isn’t a competition, just a bit of fun designed to stretch our creativity and to maybe try something a little bit different!
Again, I'll kick things off with an image I took recently of the Gelt River with the Hashtag #smillsphoto, so please join me - I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
I’ll set a new theme on the first Monday of next month.
