I've been quiet for a while

I've been quiet for a while

I’ve been a bit quiet from social media and blogging for a while.

There are several reasons for this, but the main reason being that I seem to be incredibly time poor at the moment!

I have been out with my camera a few times and captured some lovely images that I am so pleased with (including some experimental shots around the Scarborough coastline), but fitting in time to blog and up-date my social media has been really difficult.

Blog Post of the Month - 10 up-grades for 2019

Blog Post of the Month is a new segment on my blog where I will share a post from another blog that I’ve found interesting, entertaining or useful.

The posts in this segment won’t always be the most current, in fact they may even be a few years old, but as long as they are still relevant to photography today I’m happy to recommend them.

As you probably all know by now, I am nothing if not persistent!

We often only get that magical shot that we’ve already got in our head if we persist, work the scene, come back time and again and often fail over and over. but eventually, with time, patience and a small element of luck, we get that shot - and boy does it feel good!

A return to vlogging

A return to vlogging

In the early part of 2018 I began a YouTube channel with the idea of documenting my photography trips and sharing my experiences whilst out on location.

I had just started really getting into it when I fractured my foot and everything stopped!

But now I’m back on my feet again, I thought it was about time I returned to my YouTube channel.

Back after a Summer Break (or should that be fracture)

It’s been a while hasn’t it!

After fracturing the back of my heel towards the end of July, I though it was probably best to have a few weeks off in August to completely rest up and allow my foot to heal. And I’m please to say that I’m now OFF MY CRUTCHES!
