Monthly Instagram Challenge - February 2019: "Movement"

I really enjoyed last month’s Instagram Challenge “Leaves” and although only a few people took part, the images were really amazing!

Personally, I really enjoyed trying something different – Macro. I haven’t done macro photography for years, but I really enjoyed it and although my image wasn’t a true macro shot, it’s maybe something I should give a bit more of my time to – I’ll have to dust off my proper macro lens again though.

For me, I find that the best way to do this is to take my camera out and photograph the landscape – whether that be parkland close to my home, nearby woodlands, rivers and waterfalls, the beautiful Lake District Fells or other locations around the UK and further afield.

The article was discussing a new initiative by NHS Shetland where GP’s are now able to “prescribe nature” to their patients.
